Summary:

A+ A-Hyderabad: Senior congress leader V.

Hanumantha Rao on Monday urged the party leaders to launch a fight against the decision of uranium extraction at nallamalla forest by the central and state Governments. He urged the TPCC Chief N.

Uttam Kumar Reddy to mobilise people of the state on the issue and prepare an action plan to launch the agitation program. Rao also urged Reddy to convene a meeting of the senior party leaders and take their opinion before launching it. He alleged that the party leaders were only confining themselves to press meets on serious problems faced by the people of the state while noting that CM KCR was taking advantage of the same and treating the congress leaders lightly. He said that the uranium extraction would affect the two Telugu speaking states and endanger the lives of Chenchu tribals living in the area..
