MP: Narmada-Kshipra link to be channelled for agri, industry

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the project on September 26.“Besides it, 90 MLD water from the link project will be provided for another micro-irrigation project, Simrol-Ambachandan. He added that the micro-irrigation project, which will have a capacity to release 108 MLD water, will help in irrigation of 5,000 hectare. Micro-irrigation project at Balwada village in Khargone district is one of it.“NVDA lifts water at 400 metre height from Narmada river valley to link it with Kshipra river at Ujjaini.
