Indore: City traffic police on Sunday caught 1150 people for violating traffic rules and a total amount of Rs2.70 lakh was collected from them.Nine teams were stationed at several locations to take action on the spot for traffic violations, including riding two-wheeler without helmet, triple riding and driving vehicles with incomplete documents.“Most of the people were caught for riding two-wheeler without helmet. Traffic cops have also been given a target to issue at least 50 challans per day.This target has been given to personnel at the level of ASI and above, who are authorised to issue challan to people for violating traffic rules..
