Alwar: A newly constructed overhead water tank collapsed on Tuesday in Bhiwadi area of Alwar district, injuring six persons by flooding the nearby areas. The 50-feet high tank was recently completed in January and was going through a trial phase.The tank came crumbling down flooding the local court premises and an adjoining shop. The sources informed TOI that the court was in progress when they tank came falling down. The police told TOI that six people were buried under after a portion of the court building crashed. Three people are currently undergoing treatment in Bhiwadi while the other three were referred to Alwar district hospital for further treatment,” he said.The local administration and the police called a JCB machine to remove the debris..
