Shell out more for safari at Rrsquobore from Monday

Jaipur: Domestic and international tourists will have to pay little more to enjoy tiger safari at the Ranthambore National Park (RNP) from April 1. The revised rates will come into force from Monday (April 1).As per the new rates, Indian tourists will pay Rs 110, while foreign tourist will pay Rs 880. Sawaimadhopur district where Ranthambore tiger reserve is located makes around Rs 350 crores each year from wildlife tourism with direct impact on local economy. The department will charge Rs 1,439 per person or canter safari from foreign tourists.According to officials, the increase in booking price will boost the park’s revenue.
