Delhi cops search Qaeda suspect's house in Mango

JAMSHEDPUR: A team of Delhi Police and Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) personnel searched the house of Al-Qaeda suspect Sayed Mohamed Zeeshan Ali at Azadnagar in Mango on Thursday. His name popped up when three Al Qaeda suspects were arrested from the city in 2016. Sami was arrested on charges of sharing close links with Abul Rahman Cuttacki, who was the Al Qaeda Indian sub-continent operative and was arrested in 2015. Ali's father Sayed Hyder Ali claimed his son is innocent.Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Anoop T Mathew said, "Ali was deported from Saudi Arabia. He is currently being interrogated by the Intelligence Bureau, ATS and a Special Cell in Delhi.".
