Call for bandh forces SUK to reschedule PhD exam

KOLHAPUR: Shivaji University Kolhapur (SUK) has rescheduled its PhD entrance date. The qualifying marks for this entrance test will be 50% marks. This is because there is a plan for a Maharashtra bandh on August 9, on a call from Maratha outfits. There will be no negative marks for incorrect answers.The varsity has three examination centres in three districts -- Kolhapur, Sangli and Satara.
