City schools script lessons in charity

Summary:

Almost all government schools in the district initiated voluntary fund collection under PTA leadership to support relief efforts. In addition to sourcing of crowdfunding, many city and rural schools are on the field with their own individual projects to support the renovation of flood-hit schools and lend a hand to the academic needs of displaced students. Both government and private schools are active in the campaign in which students coordinate door-to-door collections using neighbourhood networks.
