Bizmen hail CGWA’s revised rule on drawing groundwater

Ludhiana: In a relief to city traders, the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) has withdrawn the condition of installing costly piezometers for the factories drawing less than 10 cubic metres of groundwater per day. “Sustainable growth of the industry is CICU’s priority and various training workshops are planned in the near future for the same,” Ahuja said. This will lead to huge cost saving for such businessmen.”CGWA has issued a notification in this regard and the businessmen should follow the fresh instructions, they said.
