Summary:

Meerut: In a shocking revelation after an inspection by the divisional midday meal coordinator here, students of Nanakchand Anglo Sanskrit (NAS) Inter College in Meerut were found to not have received meals for the last three years. It was found that MDM was not served in NAS Inter College for the last three years. Similarly, only 140 students out of 497 were being given MDMs in Shanta Smarak Inter College. This was despite the fact that Rs 4.13 and Rs 6.18 are earmarked for MDM in primary and upper primary schools respectively. Inspections at two other inter colleges also found that very few of the students enrolled there had been given MDMs..
