Following the arrest of 'cow activist' and right-wing leader Vaibhav Raut (40) by state Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Laxmi Raut (39), wife of Vaibhav, has alleged that her entire family was locked inside a room when the ATS first conducted a search at their Nalasopara residence. The officers were very rude to us and on being asked frequently about their search operation, our entire family was locked inside a room for several hours by the ATS officials. She has also alleged that while her family was locked inside, the ATS might have planted some materials at her residence, after which they made a fake seizure. They said that they were taking Vaibhav for questioning, 40 hours later we were told that he has been arrested," Laxmi said.
