According to the Agripada police, Dhanas broke the glass doors of the Nair hospital premises and while doing so a hospital staff was injured between the forehead and nose. On Sunday evening, the Agripada police registered a case of criminal intimidation against a 35-year-old man who allegedly assaulted an on-duty hospital staff on Sunday evening. As per police records, Dhanas had admitted his pregnant wife at the maternity ward as she was nearing her due date. On Sunday evening, after the delivery, Dhanas and his relatives were asked to leave since the visiting hours of the ward was over. During the commotion Raut was injured by small pieces of glass after which she lodged a police complaint.".
