Nagpur: The state public works department (PWD) has decided not to allot Rs 145-crore Phase-II of Ring Road concretization project to existing contractor Mumbai-based RPS Infraprojects Pvt Ltd . RPS is yet to repair all panels found defective but PWD is not taking any action for it.After obtaining Phase-I project, RPS was blacklisted by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for road works scam. Hundreds of people will benefit after completion of widening and concretization of Ring Road,” he said.PWD sources told TOI there were provisions in contract with RPS for giving Phase-II works to it.
