Police in-charge Hemant Kharabe told TOI that the their investigation officer is on leave and probe would start once he resumes. Now, when it was lodged, they were doing nothing, according to NU officials.Even the VC confirmed to media that the police personnel were called after the attacks took place, but they left without arresting any of the ABVP activists. Unless there is any deterrent action, such attacks would continue,” he warned. The NGO called on the government to lodge a police complaint against ABVP for causing extensive damage to its property and take action against the VC for failure to save NU’s property from vandals. Two days after MSSC lodging the FIR, Sitabuldi cops are yet to initiate any probe..
