Nagpur: Dhananjay Hiwase is the topper among all 12 department having 715 students of Government Polytechnic, Nagpur’s 2019 batch. Thakare said some students got job offers in second year of the course itself.Thakare informed this year the regional directorate had received applications for closure of four diploma colleges and three engineering colleges. The final-year diploma student has scored 96.75%, which is highest among all the branches. Five trusts have applied for starting as many new pharmacy degree and as many diploma colleges.In last the couple of years, the engineering and polytechnic courses have received poor response with over 50% seats going vacant in both.
