Bihar Diwas: Foodies satiate taste buds on Day 1

PATNA: City’s historical Gandhi Maidan wore a festive look on Thursday as thousands of people from various corners of the state gathered to catch a glimpse of the 106th Bihar Diwas celebrations. The three-day event kicked off with various activities and cultural programmes for visitors.The 50-odd stalls installed on the premises of Gandhi Maidan were major crowd pullers on Day 1. The agriculture department also showcased new techniques of terrace farming, fish farming and poultry farming through pictures and dummies at one of the pavilions.One of the most spots, however, was the ‘Vyanjan Mela’ organized by the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Limited.
