100 teachers from districts attend orientation workshop

PATNA: One hundred government schoolteachers from all the 38 districts in the state attended an orientation workshop about the importance of ‘DIKSHA’, a national portal launched by the ministry of human resource department (HRD) recently. Teachers can give their best if they are given an ideal atmosphere and better infrastructure in government schools. “These teachers can share their best practices and new ideas about teaching methodology to be adopted right from primary to senior secondary level,” he said, adding this was the first orientation workshop on ‘DIKSHA’ in the state.“Bihar has no dearth of talent. “Their innovative ideas and best practices will be uploaded to the DIKSHA website for teachers of other states,” she said.Lall said the Union government had provided adequate funds for making ‘DIKSHA’ a great success in Bihar. It is a good initiative taken by the Centre to update knowledge and experiences among teachers and students,” Chongthu said.SCERT deputy director-cum-state DIKSHA nodal officer Manju Lall said five nodal districts were identified in the state from where teachers could be trained in new learning methodology..
