PMC plans 3 shifts to finish Bhama Askhed jackwell work

Pune: The much-delayed Bhama Askhed water supply project is set to gather pace as the civic administration is contemplating changes in the work schedule.Nearly 70% of the work for the jackwell has been completed. The aim of the project is to improve the water supply to areas located along the Ahmednagar Road. The agitators ha halted the laying of the water supply pipeline. The decision to streamline the workflow to complete the project in quick-time was taken during the tour.“The work will be done in three shifts,” said standing committee chairman Yogesh Mulik.
