Pune: The Government Railway Police (GRP) found an unidentified man’s body in the drinking water tank at platform number one in Pune railway station in the wee hours of Wednesday.The city fire brigade and GRP officials fished out the body from the tank. Fresh water was refilled.It is not known how long the man was inside the tank, how he went inside and if he was thrown inside it. An accidental death case has been registered.According to the Central Railway authorities, there are three such tanks with lids on platform number one of the station. Later in the day, all the water in the tank was flushed out and it was cleaned thoroughly. These tanks provide drinking water to the railway passengers..
