3,703 people in 18+ age group get vaccinated

RAIPUR: In the Covid vaccination drive initiated for age groups of 18 to 44 years of age, on Sunday 3,703 people were vaccinated across the state.

While on its first day 1,945 people were vaccinated at 113 sites on Saturday.

Except Bemetara, vaccination was held in all other 27 districts.

Highest turnout of 384 was reported from the naxal-affected and tribal dominated Bastar district and lowest turn of 23 people was reported from Narayanpur.

While Raipur reported vaccination of 80 people on Sunday.

On its first day, Durg reported the highest turnout of 199 people followed by 196 in Dhamtari and Raipur reported vaccination of 124 people on Saturday.

As per reports, due to protocol of vaccinating first to Antodaya cardholders then to BPL and APL respectively, vaccination was declined to several people of other categories therefore, the lowest turnout of two was reported from Rajnandgaon.
