Four injured in clash between two families

Rajkot: A trivial dispute over cleaning an overflowing drainage in the neighbourhood triggered a clash between two families at Madhapar Bhunga in Bedi Bandar locality of Jamnagar on Tuesday evening. Both the warring group members lodged complaint and cross complaints against each other on Tuesday night.The clash left four persons, including two women, injured.The drainage was overflowing between the houses of Sajid Chharecha (33) and Amad Buchad (19), who entered into a heated argument over cleaning of gutter.As the altercation turned ugly, members of both the Chharecha and Buchad families allegedly attacked each other with swords.“Sajid and his wife Jhulekha Chharecha (30) were injured when they were allegedly attacked with swords by Amad, his father Hasam Buchad, his mother, his sister Rukhsar Buchad, his brothers — Osman Buchad and Shabir Buchad — his uncle Hussein Buchad and three others from his family,” Bedi marine police station sub-inspector R B Gohel said.Meanwhile, Amad also lodged a cross complaint against Sajid, Jhulekha, Farida Chharecha and Rashida Chharecha, accusing them of attacking them with swords on Tuesday night..
