Rajkot: Six persons including three children , of a family were killed in a road accident on Chotila-Sayla highway near Sangani and Maghrikhada village in Surendrangar district on Saturday evening. Their car slipped off the road and got crushed under the truck.The truck driver applied brakes but lost control and the vehicle tumbled upon the car. The deceased were returning from Aanadpur village near Chotila and going to their native place in Wadhvan.According to police, the accident took place when Niranjan Gohil and his family, who were travelling in a car, tried to overtake a truck from the wrong side. The truck was loaded with plastic raw materials. DySP Limbdi D V Basia said, “All the members of the car died on the spot.” The deceased are identified as Niranjan Gohil (40) his wife Hina (40), mother Dhirajben (65), daughters Vidhi (13) and Aayushi (7) and son Shivang (6)..
