Covid-19 cases show no signs of decline in Meghalaya, 463 cases, 10 fatalities recorded

Meghalaya received 463 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while 10 people succumbed to the deadly virus.

As of 11th August, the state`s total cases tally has reached 70,232.

The north-eastern state has 4,496 active cases currently.

Meghalaya received 463 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while 10 people succumbed to the deadly virus.

As of 11th August, the state`s total cases tally has reached 70,232.

The north-eastern state has 4,496 active cases currently.

The cumulative recoveries reached 64,541 after 463 under-treatment patients recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24-hours.

The total fatalities in the state have climbed to 1195 after 10 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The new cases of infection include 255 from East Khasi Hills, 7 from Ri-Bhoi, 40 from West Garo Hills, 25 West Jaintia Hills, 13 from East Jaintia Hills, 67 from West Khasi Hills, 7 from South West Garo Hills and 2 from East Garo Hills, 67 from West Khasi Hills, 7 from South Garo hill and 3 from North Garo Hills.

South West Khasi Hills received 16 cases.
