Manali: At least 15 houses were buried under a massive avalanche in remote Sural village in Pangi valley of Himachal Pradesh at about 7.30pm on Friday. It would be difficult for authorities to carry out recce of Sural village at night.Three houses were damaged by another avalanche in Yangthang village of Lahaul on Friday. While residents’ had a miraculous escape, their cattle’s fate remains unknown.As there was fresh snowfall, all residents were inside their low-floor houses when avalanche struck the village.
