Meethi Khadi still above danger mark, residents scared

Once, the sea starts accepting the creek water, the water level in the creek would come down considerably.Bhairav Desai, executive engineer of Limbayat zone, said, “The water level in Meethi Khadi is stable at 7.65 metre, which means there is no fresh inflow of water in the creek. Meanwhile, electricity supply in the area has been disconnected for safety of the people. The tender for the construction of the wall in the rest of the portion has been approved and it is expected to be completed in the next few months..
