Uploading of photos of garbage collected from these slums on TMC App is mandatory. One NGO can apply for five slum pockets.One worker will be deputed to collect waste from 300 slum homes. Then he or she will upload the picture of home from where he has collected the garbage, on a daily basis. For effective implementation of this scheme, TMC is also planning to build one App connected to GPS.Every worker will download this App. Most of the slum dwellers are throwing waste in nearby nullah or open space.TMC official said that they were planning to rope in non-governmental organizations to identify ragpickers in the city..
