Mumbai: Degree college cut-offs drop by 2-4% in 2nd list

MUMBAI: The second merit list brought little respite for degree college aspirants as cut off in most colleges dropped marginally, at most by 2%-4%. At St Xavier’s College, scores for the Arts course fell by .5% at 97.5% for other boards. In a few popular colleges, in demand courses saw scores fall by a mere few points. Cut-offs are falling by just a few points because there are so many students with over 90% scores,” said Ashok Wadia, Jai Hind college principal.
