Kidambi Srikanth’s rise this year has been remarkable, clinching four super series and moving to the no.2 spot in the world ranking but that’s just on-court success. The 24-year-old on-court activities have also helped him increase his yearly prize earning. Kidambi’s dream run saw him pocket Rs 1.54 crore in prize money earning, making him the top grosser among men shuttlers this year.

Such has been Srikanth's dominance this year that even the women's singles highest-earner Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei trails him with earnings of $170,475. PV Sindhu is fourth on the list with $97,925.

Breakdown of his earning:

Four Super Series titles equals $230,423

Srikanth earned $75,000 by clinching Indonesia Open Super Series Premier

He bagged $56,250 each for triumphing in Australia and Denmark

$24,375 for winning French Open and $16,597.50 for finishing second in Singapore Open

 Remaining Major Series:

Hong Kong Super Series 2017: Has a total purse of $400,000

Dubai world Super Series Finals 2017: Has a total purse of $1,000,000

Even if Srikant doesn’t participate or do well, he will still end up as the top grosser
