Cricket | Australia Vs India 2017 | Sunday | 17th September, 2017

Team India had a really poor start after electing to bat first in the First ODI against Australia at Chennai. After India lost Ajinkya Rahane cheaply, Captain Virat Kohli came to the crease but did not trouble the scorers. Kohli chased a wide ball and tried to hit it over backward point fielder but Glenn Maxwell took an unbelievable one hand catch to send Indian captain back to pavilion.

After a one sided series against Sri Lanka, the Kangaroos proved why they are among the top sides in the world and will give a tough fight to India even in the sub-continent. Fielding is one of the key parameters which differentiates sides and this was an example as losing captain Virat Kohli early put Team India in a lot of pressure.

Nathan Coulter Nile, who had impressed in the IPL as well turned out to be the wicket taker. He dismissed Rahane, Kohli and Pandey in quick succession to put his side in the dominant position.
