India vs Australia: Rain likely to disrupt 2nd ODI in Kolkata

India started the five-match ODI series on a positive note, winning the first one-day international by 26 runs in a rain-affected match.

According to weathermen, the second ODI could also witness another truncated match as there is high possibility of intermittent showers, especially in the evening hours. With rain threat looming large, the Eden Gardens remained under covers.

Eden Gardens is hosting Australia for the first time since November 18, 2003, last time the two teams faced each other it was a TVS Cup final where India lost to visitors.

The Cricket Association of Bengal is no mood to take any chances. The former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, who is the president of CAB is also actively involved in making sure that everything goes smoothly.
