Ind vs Aus: Virat Kohli dismissed in the 90s for the sixth time

Cricket | Australia Vs India 2017 | Thursday | 21st September, 2017

Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli once again entertained the fans with another splendid innings in the second One Day International against Australia at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. However, fans were left emotional when Kohli got dismissed in the nervous 90s in a quite unfortunate dismissal. Kohli was just eight runs away from surpassing Ricky Ponting’s record of 30 centuries in ODI cricket and tried to guide a Nathan Coulter Nile delivery to third man, but knocked the ball onto the stumps.  Virat also could not believe at the way he got dismissed and had to make his way back to pavilion.

Despite an odd failure here and there, Kohli is usually amongst runs and if the captain is leading by example, then thats a good sign and brings out the best from other members of the team as well. Kohli's innings was filled with some delightful strokeplay and helped India pile up a decent total once again.
