Ind vs Aus: India has a 100% win record at Holkar Stadium

Cricket | Australia Vs India 2017 | Saturday | 23rd September, 2017

Team India under captain Virat Kohli is enjoying a wonderful winning streak, having won 11 matches consecutively. Indian cricket team will meet Australia in the  3rd One Day International at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. It will not only be an opportunity to clinch a series win for India, but also to extend the winning streak further. But one thing that will boost India’s hopes and further dent the Aussie confidence is India’s phenomenal record at the Holkar Stadium. India has so far played a total of five international matches here, including 4 ODIs and a test match and quite interestingly managed to win  all of them.

But fans would expect that rain does not play spoilsport and deprive the fans of celebrating India’s series win, in case India emerges out victorious. Rain has been chasing both the teams till now, with teams even having to skip practice session at times.

Not only that, the continuous rain has been giving serious headaches to the pitch curator, Samandar Singh Chauhan. He said, “It has been a big challenge to get the ground ready. The whole ground has been covered. We have been struggling to get the ground dry.”
