Ind vs Aus: Finch likely to be back in the 3rd ODI

Cricket | Australia Vs India 2017 | Saturday | 23rd September, 2017

After back to back defeats, there is some good news for the Australian camp as their star batsman Aaron Finch is back practicising and will likely be part of the team for the 3rd ODI on Sunday. Finch has so far not played a single match as he aggravated a calf injury while training ahead of the first ODI in Chennai.

Opener David Warner confirmed about Finch’s recovery.  “It’s good signs to see him back in the nets and he’s doing everything possible to be fit for this game. We know what he’s going to bring. He’s a very good batter, he’s played a lot of cricket over the past couple of years, he’s got a lot of experience and for us at the top of the order, he brings a lot of aggression,” Warner said.

Australia have struggled with the bat so far and  desperately need someone like Aaron Finch back to boost their batting line-up. Finch's replacement Hilton Cartwright has failed to impress so far and he will have to make way for the returning Aussie opener.
