Ind vs Aus: Jadeja dropped, Axar Patel in for remaining ODI

After India’s splendid win over Australia in the third One-Day International at the Holkar stadium, the BCCI selectors brought in a fit Akshar Patel in India’s squad for the remaining two ODIs, dropping Ravindra Jadeja.

The BCCI announced the squad on Sunday with only one change, bringing in Akshar Patel, who had twisted his ankle before the first ODI at Chennai. The spinner has been declared fit and will join the squad as the team goes to Bangalore and then Ranchi.

This move states that the team is confident and want to strengthen their bench, also, the head coach Ravi Shastri insisted on saving the experienced once namely Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin.
