PAKISTAN CAPTAIN SARFRAZ AHMED MOCKS INDIAN MEDIA

Pakistan’s captain Sarfraz Ahmed’s reaction to Indian media coverage of him singing “Mauka Mauka” post their win in ICC Champions trophy.

While speaking to SAMAA TV he mocked the whole "Mauka Mauka" coverage from Indian media. "The way they created the sensation out of me singing Mauka Mauka was hilarious," he said. "I was tagged everywhere with that clip of the bulletin in which their anchors were slamming me for singing that song."

Further, he said that he sang the song to cherish the moments for hundreds of supporters who had gathered outside his home, post their Champions Trophy final victory. "You've been targeting us with this song for so many years--so what if I sang it only one time?" he said, attacking the Indian media

Sarfaraz further took exception to the fact that Pakistani cricketers are criticized for using foul language on the field but the same doesn't hold true for their Indian counterparts. He named Virat Kohli attacking specifically in this regard.

It seems as if Pakistan has a poor memory. It was Indian fans who came to Sarfraz's rescue over his poor English at the conference post their win and defended him for being judged for his English speaking abilities.

The flowing of such pessimistic views from any end will eventually ruin the ties and relations that have only worsened over the past few years and efforts to construct peace will fail.
