Indian skipper Virat Kohli broke his silence on the ongoing controversy involving KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya, who are likely to be banned by the BCCI for the sexist comments made by the duo. Speaking on the comments, Kohli has stated that the players don’t align with that views and those opinions of the two prime cricketers.

It would also mean that India will have to wait to name their 12-member squad for the first ODI against Australia at home. Yesterday, the Chief of Administrations Chairman Vinod Rai has recommended a two-match ban for both Rahul and Pandya but the decision will be revisited today.

Pandya looks set to be banned, in all likeness but a milder punishment would be given to KL Rahul.

Pandya was quick to state an apology on social media and in his response towards the BCCI. He also apologized to former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, as well as the current coach of Team India Ravi Shastri respectively.
