Recently after CSK’s announcement of releasing Suresh Raina from the team (due to personal reasons), Bhajji has also made his way out. Senior off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh has not yet joined the team in UAE for the 13th edition of IPL.

However, he is yet to officially inform Chennai Super Kings on his availability during the game but the team has already proceeded and prepared in full-swing to play matches without him.

According to a known publication’s source, “he has not sent in any official communication and that is expected by today evening or tomorrow. But the team management has been told to prepare for the scenario wherein they may miss his services.”

“13 personnel have tested positive of which are two players. All the affected person as well as their close contacts are asymptomatic and have been isolated from other team members. They are being monitored by the IPL Medical team,” the BCCI said in an official release.

The CEO of CSK, Kasi Viswanathan had later confirmed that there has been no fresh case other than the players who had tested COVID positive earlier. He said, “Those who tested positive earlier will be tested again only after 14 days,”

Nonetheless, it has made pretty clear in the minds of IPL fans that Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh won't’ be a part of the team this year and the team will have to cope up to its standards without the two.
