Ind Vs Aus: Third Test Match, India’s Playing XI Announced

BCCI announced it’s playing XI for its third match of the Test series against Australia on Wednesday. The match that will be played in Sydney will not see Mayank Agarwal on the pitch as Rohit Sharma will be taking his position.

Sharma will open the batting with Shubman Gill. Saini, on the other hand, replaced Umesh Yadav, who was injured during the second innings of the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne.

The match will see the debut of young Navdeep Saini in the playing XI team for the third test match at Sydney Cricket Ground. The spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja who shared a total of 8 wickets at the MCG, which India won by 8 wickets will also be part of the team.

Ajinkya Rahane said Rohit, who is also named as the vice-captain of the side, has been batting really well in the nets and he would be seen batting at the top of the innings in the Pink Test.
