India vs England, 3rd Test, Day 2: India takes easy lead against visitors at Narendra Modi stadium

With poor start by visitors, India failed to take advantage and lost quick wickets submitting their total to just 145. England vs India second innings, Day 2 of the ongoing third Test match, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is gaining the charm with tough competition.

India were bowled out for 145 at tea on the second day of the third Test. Joe Root wreaked havoc with the ball, picking up five wickets in 6.2 overs. The hosts have taken a 33-run lead.

Ashwin removed Jofra Archer LBW to complete 400 wickets in Test cricket. He becomes the fourth Indian bowler after Kapil, Kumble and Harbhajan to enter the 400-wickets club. He has also become the second fastest, after Muttiah Muralitharan to reach this feat.
