Who is Abdul Samad?

The 19-year-old all-rounder was born in J&K's Kala Kot, he had a historic run in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy.
He hammered the highest number of 36 sixes in the tournament, he scored 592 runs in the 17 innings with a strike healthy strike rate of 113, considering that Ranji Trophy is not T20 cricket.

Soon, Sun Risers Hyderabad signed Abdul Samad up for INR 20 lakh in the 2019 auction. He became only the fourth player from J&K to play in Indian Premier league stripes after Parvez Rasool, Mansoor Dar and Rasikh Salam.
