Champions of IPL's inaugural season Rajasthan Royals (RR) and are set to lock horns with a Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their opening match of IPL 2021 today. The previous season was poor for both the teams as Punjab at number six while Rajasthan Royals deescalated to the bottom of the table at number 8.

In all the matches between the two teams, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson (406) has scored the most runs. followed by KL Rahul (350), Jose Butler (251) and Chris Gayle (217).
