IPL 2021: 3 CSK members test positive for Covid-19, 2 KKR players infected too

Covid-19 scare looms large over the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. Three members of the Chennai Super Kings franchise have tested positive for Covid-19 after Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier of Kolkata Knight Riders tested positive for COVID earlier today.

The Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) has been affected badly by the Covid-19. The Covid-19 test report of three members of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings has come positive. According to a report, team chief executive Kashi Vishwanathan, bowling coach Laxmipathy Balaji and team bus cleaner have been found infected with Covid-19. The corona test report of the rest of the team, which is currently in Delhi, has come negative. Tests were conducted on Sunday after which this report came out.

Today's match between KKR and RCB has been postponed by the BCCI as per IPL Safety Guidelines after Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier of Kolkata Knight Riders tested positive for COVID.

The second wave of Covid-19 has wreaked havoc in the country and around four lakh cases are coming every day, while more than 3000 people are losing their lives every day due to the outbreak.
