All cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the news of IPL 14's continuation after the cash-rich league was postponed owing to a disastrous Covid-19 situation in India.

The BCCI has three options to hold the remaining matches of the IPL. The board may have an option to resume IPL-14 in September. The tournament can be held in India, UAE or UK.

The news of IPL being played in England has surfaced as there are reports of an offer from English Counties to conduct the remaining 31 matches of IPL.

According to a report, a group of English counties have shown interest in hosting the remaining matches of IPL 2021 in September this year. Four English counties Middlesex, Surrey, Warwickshire and Lancashire have sent a letter to the ECB. In this letter, a plan has been sent to hold the remaining matches in the second week of September this year.

It is understood that if the offer is accepted, the home of Emirates' Old Trafford (in Manchester), Lancashire, can be used for the tournament, although Lancashire has clarified that they were aware of the letter and were not a signatory. At the same time, it is being said that UAE pitches will remain fresh for the T20 World Cup by organizing the IPL in England. If the T20 World Cup is not organized in India due to Covid-19, then it can be organized in the UAE and it will be a very good move.

The Indian team will also go on a tour of England this year between August and September, Team India will play 5 Test matches against England. There are speculations that after this the Indian team will have time before the ICC World Cup and during that time the remaining matches of IPL can be organized.
