Rishabh Pant tests positive for Covid-19, Fans warned him earlier after a maskless appearance at Euro 2020

Covid-19 scare is hovering over the Test series to be played between India and England. It is difficult to say whether this series will start on regular time or not. The sudden increase in the Covid-19 cases in England has also taken the Indian team into its clutches as one player of the Indian squad have been found infected with the Corona virus.

According to the information, the Indian player who is still Covid positive is wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant.

Pant will be tested again on 18 July, which will his tenth day in isolation.

A BCCI source told a new agency, "Yes, a player has been found Covid-19 positive although he is feeling much better at the moment. He is quarantined at his acquaintance's place and will not travel with the team to Durham. This was revealed when BCCI Secretary Jay Shah sent an email to Team India given the recent situation of Covid-19 in England. The Indian team will regroup on Thursday after a 20-day break in Durham, where they are scheduled to play a three-day practise match from July 20.

The player has been isolated after getting this information. It is expected that the number of Covid infected players in Team India may increase.

According to a news agency, both the players had mild symptoms like chills, cough but their condition is under control. Earlier, 7 members including 3 players from the England team were found infected with Covid-19.
