Cricket`s Chak De Moment: Transformation in Indian Women`s cricket team

Indian women’s cricket team grabbed all the eyeballs after they reached the cricket World Cup 2017 final. But the Women’s team had reached 2005 cricket World Cup as well, although there is a major difference between then and now. The Women's Cricket Association of India was merged with the Board of Control for Cricket in India in 2006. At Cricket’s Chak De Moment event on Saturday, the Women in Blue will share their experience and how much the women cricket has transformed over years.  The person behind such incredible event was Mr RK Sharan, Director, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  Mr Sharan played an important role and many such programs are in pipeline such as AGRITECH, UP / Bihar, Global Summit, Agra. 

The players will be felicitated by the Uttar Pradesh Governor for their exceptional performance in the World Cup. Since the World Cup 2017, the Women cricketers have been in limelight whether is feliciatation by State Governments, meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi or attending television shows. Many young girls of the country will be have an eye and will be curious to hear cricketer’s views on the transformation and how the women cricket has got significance now.
