Ashwin continues to impress in County Cricket, scores maiden half century

Ace Indian off-spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin has brought a smile to the faces of many of his fans with his impressive performance in County Cricket in England.  Ashwin who has been continuously performing well with the ball, has now begun to show his all-round abilities as he struck his first half century in county cricket.  Not only that, Ashwin who scored 82 runs,  also turned out to be the highest scorer in Worcestershire innings which ended at the score of 335 runs on Day two of the division two match against Durham in Worcester.

Ashwin has been officially rested by the Board of Control for Cricket in India and is not part of the current India-Australia series. It is a good sign for Indian cricket as Ashwin has got well accustomed to English conditions and his experience will benefit Team India in its tour of England next year.

He has been in superb form with the ball as well and picked up a five wicket against Gloucestershire recently.Ashwin made his debut in County cricket last month and is currently playing his fourth match.
