Indian skipper Virat Kohli followed up his embarrassing duck out in the opening day with a masterful century on the final day of the first match against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens as India declared their second innings on 352/8.

It was Kohli’s 18th century in Test cricket and 50th international hundred. He also equalled Sunil Gavaskar’s record for the most hundred as an India Test Captain with 11 century.

Kohli’s third hundred against Sri Lanka came in breathtaking fashion as he stepped out to Lakmal, hit him over the extra-cover region and roared in delight.
