Pujara, Jadeja climb to second spot in ICC Test ranking

Pujara has been troubling Sri Lankan bowlers in the ongoing Test series, racking up 217 runs with an average of 72.33 which helped him climb up in the latest ICC ranking for Test batsmen.

Pujara jumped a couple of rungs to second, lifting him from fourth to second on a career-high 888 points. Pujara leads fifth-ranked Indian skipper Virat Kohli by 11 points.

In bowlers ranking, Ravindra Jadeja has reclaimed the second position following his five for 84 against Sri Lankan while Ashwin, who became the fastest man to 300 Test wickets has consolidated his fourth position by gaining nine points.
