Shocking! Pakistan cricketer dies after being hit on head

Cricket is counted among the dangerous sports in the world especially because a leather ball is used. A tragic news from the world of cricket has left many people stunned as Pakistan club cricketer Zubair Ahmed has died after being hit by a bouncer in a match at Mardan, Pakistan. According to the reports, he was not wearing the helmet and that left him vulnerable to such an incident.  Zubair had played four matches for the Pakistan based domestic side- Quetta Bears . PCB informed of the tragic incident and reminded players of the importance of safety equipment.

Australian vice-captain David Warner was also struck in the neck by a bouncer recently but he survived. The safety equipments had been highlighted when the Philip Hughes incident took place in 2014. Since then, a lot of modifications have been made to the safety equipments so that the players feel safe and such incidents do not repeat.
