Magical Rohit Sharma smash third double century, guide India to massive score

After Dharamshala set back, skipper Rohit Sharma responded in a spectacular fashion, scoring a sensational third double century of his career. Hitman Rohit Sharma became the first player on the planet to cross the remarkable 200 mark thrice in ODI’s and in the process broke multiple records as India set a massive target of 293 runs.

Rohit Sharma on his wedding anniversary ended his innings on an unbeaten 208 runs in just 151 balls. In his master-class knock, he smashed 12 sixes and 13 fours. Indian skipper got his hundred in the 90 balls and brought up his next hundred in just 36 balls.

Rohit Sharma got his first double century against Australia when he scored 209 runs in Bangalore, then a year later, he made 264 at Eden Gardens against Sri Lanka. This score remains the individual highest by a batsman in 50-over cricket.
